The Greenport BID is proud to host our very first Village Worker Appreciation Day on May 21st — a small gesture to recognize the big impact our village workers and staff have on keeping Greenport beautiful, clean, and thriving.
From a free lunch at Blue Duck Bakery to an evening of food and drinks at Greenport Brewery, these events are our way of saying thank you to the daily dedication and hard work of Village Employees. This idea was originally pitched by Colin Ratsey, and the BID is thrilled to bring it to life — with the hope that this marks the beginning of an annual tradition celebrating those who keep our village running smoothly.
To all our village workers: We appreciate you. Let’s make this the first of many.
