Just ahead of our latest blizzard, Southold got a brief respite from this winter of endless snow on Saturday, as temperatures soared to a balmy 43 degrees and WinterFest turned Main Road into a full-on midwinter block party — ice sculptures, music, kid chaos, local shopping, and a shameless amount of free samples.
