North Fork real estate market cools as just one home sale tops $1 million

The first full week of May brought a notably quiet stretch for the North Fork real estate market, with just six residential home sales recorded across the region — and only one crossing the seven-figure mark.

That lone million-dollar residential deal was a four-bedroom Southold home on Ackerly Pond Lane, which sold for $1.25 million. The week’s biggest transaction overall, however, was not a home sale at all, but a 1.86-acre commercial parcel along Edgar Avenue in Aquebogue, near the Long Island Rail Road tracks and Indian Island County Park, which changed hands for $1.5 million.

AQUEBOGUE

29 Edgar LLC purchased the 1.86-acre commercial property at 29 Edgar Avenue, near the north end of Meetinghouse Creek, from CEAX LLC for $1.5 million.

CUTCHOGUE

The William Roth Family Trust bought the house on a 2.5-acre lot at 4015 Skunk Lane, by Mud Creek, from the Barbara Stoutenburgh Trust for $975,000.

Lori Helms sold the two-bedroom ranch house at 7850 Bridge Lane, near Sang Lee Farms, to Jonathan Magri for $655,000.

No real estate transfers were announced for East Marion this week.

GREENPORT

RIVERHEAD

Lorena Romero and Esbeidy Muniz purchased the three-bedroom, 1900-square-foot house at 519 Washington Avenue, by Riverhead Cemetery, from Richard & Bozena Hejmej for $800,000.

Isaac Halpern bought the four-bedroom farm style house at 3953 Sound Avenue, just east of Cherry Creek Golf Links, from John Marino for $700,000.

SHELTER ISLAND

Maura Regan sold the three-bedroom house on a near-one-acre lot at 11F Petticoat Lane, near West Neck Creek, to Christopher DiOrio and Kelci McIntosh for $975,000.

SOUTHOLD

Nick Saltamanikas and Christina Georgos purchased the four-bedroom house at 1465 Ackerly Pond Lane, just west of Jockey Creek, from John Peters for $1.25 million.
