Eastern Front Brewing Co. in Mattituck will host the inaugural North Fork Juneteenth Poetry Fest on Saturday, June 20, offering an afternoon of spoken word, community and creative expression.
The event is open to both poets and listeners, with participants invited to share original works or readings from published authors. Organizers encourage writers of all experience levels to take part.
Sign-up for readers begins at 2:45 p.m., with the poetry program running from 3 to 5 p.m. A live band performance will follow the readings.
Admission is free, with no cover charge or minimum purchase required. As a thank-you to participating poets, readers will receive a $1 discount on pints during the event.
