Thousands of residents and visitors are expected to gather in Greenport on Saturday for the fourth annual North Fork Pride Parade & Festival, a celebration of LGBTQ+ pride, inclusion and community that has become one of the East End’s signature summer events.
This year’s celebration, themed “Unstoppable Pride: Here. Now. Always.“, will run from noon to 4 p.m., beginning with a parade through downtown Greenport before continuing with a festival at Mitchell Park featuring live entertainment, vendors, community organizations, food and family-friendly activities.
This year’s grand marshals are Lori Panarello, owner of Craft Hair in Greenport, recognized for her leadership and advocacy in helping North Fork Pride grow over the years; North Fork Women, honored for its ongoing commitment to supporting the local community; Linda Kessler, owner of Kessie Boutique in Greenport, recognized for her longtime support of local Pride initiatives; and Stanley Lomangino, owner of Maggio Environmental and a member of the New York LGBT Network Board of Directors, honored for his leadership and commitment to advancing equality and inclusion across Long Island.
The parade steps off promptly at noon from the intersection of Main and Broad streets, traveling down Main Street before turning onto Front Street and ending at Mitchell Park, where the afternoon festival will take place.

Organizers say the annual event continues to grow, drawing thousands of participants, local businesses, nonprofit organizations and allies from across the North Fork and beyond to celebrate the diversity, resilience and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community.

The festival at Mitchell Park will continue throughout the afternoon with music, entertainment, local vendors, community resources and activities designed to welcome people of all ages.
North Fork Pride has expanded steadily since its inaugural celebration, becoming one of the region’s largest annual gatherings promoting visibility, acceptance and equality for LGBTQ+ residents and their allies.
