What a night! The Cutchogue Fire Department’s 68th Annual Chicken Barbecue packed the tent at Peconic Bay Vineyards — where more than 3,000 chicken halves were grilled to perfection. Piles of corn and potato salad, pitchers of cold beer, fresh sides, peaches, ice cream and that legendary secret sauce kept the rows and rows of dinner tables crowded, while the ladies auxiliary, Junior Firefighters and an army of volunteers pulled off another fantastic North Fork summer tradition.
