Shelter Island sees fifth $5M-plus home sale since February
The Nature Conservancy’s sale of 21 Thompson Road on Shelter Island marked the fifth residential sale of more than $5 million in the town since the beginning of February. The beachfront home overlooking Smith Cove, which sold for $5.7 million, marked the third highest residential sale on the Island in 2026.

Valleywood Capital LLC sold the two-bedroom house at 42 Lockitt Drive, near Simmons Point, to John & Mary O’Donoghue for $735,000.

William & Joy Doyle sold the three-bedroom ranch house at 18 Tyte Drive, just north of Sawmill Creek, to Merilin Banegas and Jose Moran for $590,000.
Martin & Gail Jacobs purchased the two-bedroom ranch house at 618 Corwin Street, just west of Peconic Estuary, from Consuelo Lopez for $535,000.
SHELTER ISLAND
Jeffrey Franzoni bought the two-bedroom house on the 9.4-acre lot at 21 Thompson Road, which has beach access to Miss Annie’s Creek, from Nature Conservancy Inc for $5.7 million.
Robert Hansen sold the three-bedroom house at 65 North Midway Road, near the town’s recycling center, to Mariana Koehler and Francis Molignano for $840,000.
88 West Neck Rd SI LLC purchased the four-bedroom house at 88 West Neck Road, near West Neck Bay, from V & C Brothers Trust for $625,000.
SOUTHOLD
Nicholas & Sandra Telesmanic bought the three-bedroom ranch house at 440 Jernick Lane, near Jockey Creek, from Ronald Yedloutschnig for $864,000.
