Aquebogue sees highest home purchase sale since January ‘25

A five-bedroom home on 1.25 acres at 16 Lovers Lane in Aquebogue sold for $2.4
million. That’s the largest residential real estate transfer recorded in Aquebogue since
the 4-bedroom, waterfront home at 53 Harbor Road, on Morningside Creek sold for
$2.85 million in January, 2025.

That was also the last Aquebogue listing to sell for more than $1 million. No other property in this week’s real estate transfers sold for more than $960,000. Below are this week’s real estate transfers listed by location:

AQUEBOGUE
Gary & Donna Schwartz purchased the 4,000-square-foot house at 16 Lovers Lane, a
short walk from Reeves Creek, from TDL Realty LLC for $2.4 million.

CUTCHOGUE
Haywater House LLC bought the 4-bedroom Cape Cod house at 440 Cases Lane, near
both North Fork Country Club and Cedars Golf Club, from Beverly Weiss and Alice
Fjeldal for $860,000.

EAST MARION
No real estate transfers were announced for East Marion this week.
 
GREENPORT
Philip & Diane Walters sold the property at 690 August Lane, near Pipes Cove, to Thomas
Thorp and Patricia Lauth for $935K.

Goldfish Properties LLC purchased the two-bedroom craftsman house at 401 6th Street,
near the Greenport LIRR station, from Robert Laub for $799,000.

Kimmarie Sferrazza bought the three-bedroom ranch house at 411 2nd Street, a few
blocks north of the North Ferry terminal, from Frank & Bessie Swann for $640,000.
 
JAMESPORT
John DeBenedittis and Cathy Clark purchased the 900-square-foot house at 43 Phyllis
Lane, near South Jamesport Beach, from Frank & Deanne Glover for $600,000.

In an intra-family deal, Nicole Krassas sold the four-bedroom house at 3 Smith Lane,
near Browns Point, to William Raczko and Ariadne Krassas for $450,000.

No real estate transfers were announced for Laurel this week.

MATTITUCK

Leslie Benway bought the 1,400-square-foot, two-bedroom home at 1630 Theresa
Drive, across the inlet from Marratooka Point, from Carol Scarborough for $960,000.

John & Denise Ioannou purchased the three-bedroom ranch house at 11065 Old Sound
Ave, half a mile west of Love Lane, from Steven Libretto for $845,000.

Holly & Steven Ficner sold the three-bedroom colonial home at 18955 Main Road, just
up the road from the Mattituck Historical Society, to Dylan Clausen for $675,000.
